Network Rail has successfully delivered a £4.5 million upgrade project on the Kyle of Lochalsh line in Scotland, a key investment to enhance the railway’s reliability and resilience.
The infrastructure project focused on renewing a significant section of track, including the replacement of rails, sleepers, and ballast. Additionally, vital maintenance was carried out on several structures and embankments along the line.
